Acorns and Oaks - Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden

Acorns & Oaks is a parent-child educational program (traditionally known as a “Mommy & Me” class) rooted in whole-child philosophy & developmental play. This outdoor program fosters parent-child bonding through songs, crafts, stories, sensory integration, and tactile play with nature. While providing young children opportunities to practice and develop cognitive, social-emotional, and gross and fine motor skills, Acorns & Oaks gives caregivers the opportunity to socialize while learning new ways to engage with their children. A whole-family experience, Acorns & Oaks is a mixed-age program designed for children ages birth through 5 years old, and older siblings wishing to join are welcome.
