Family Friday - Pretend City Children's Museum

Today is Family Friday at the museum and we are inviting everyone to enjoy some holiday activities and games! RSVP not required, and the fee is included with admission!

Today is Family Friday at the museum and we are inviting everyone to enjoy some holiday activities and games!
Purpose Behind the Play: Social emotional development, literacy and communication, and gross and locomotor practice.
- Sensational Story Time (11:00am & 2:00pm): We Are Family > Come one, come all as we read this sweet rhyming book that shows the similarities and differences within various families. After the story we’ll celebrate with family friendly dance party!
- Music & Movement (11:15am, 2:15pm, 3:00pm) Turkey Hokey Pokey > Join us for some dancing and singing as we learn the Turkey Hokey Pokey!
Grown-Up Tip: Encourage your child to think of all the things that they are grateful for this holiday season. Write the list down for them and post the list somewhere in their room. Read the list together on those days that your child is feeling sad or upset. Reminding them of all the things they have to be thankful for will help them put things in perspective. This will work for parents too! Make your own list and post it somewhere as a reminder to you.
