We offer dozens of year-round educational programming designed to spark the imagination of people of all ages and foster a lifelong love of the arts. Our programs for children, teens, and families include lectures, art-making workshops, films, gallery talks, and special events. We also offer curriculums for teachers and educators to encourage schools to participate in visits to the Museum.

The California Science Center Professional Development team is committed to helping educators grow in awareness and implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards. Our workshops infuse your practice with innovative ideas and strategies to engage students in science learning! We are offering drop-in art workshops in person at our art center, as well as online via Zoom. Please note, each class is a one-time workshop: the same project will be repeated on different days. We are happy to slowly welcome our community back to the Art Center! Music Classes also offered!

The enrichment classes provided at our preschool provide an opportunity for students to foster their sense of self through exploration in the arts. The mission of the Fullerton Museum Center (FMC) is to present the best in diverse exhibitions and education programs. Our Center provides a vibrant central gathering place for the community, stimulates dialogue, and promotes critical and creative thinking.

Griffith Observatory's fifth-grade school program uses the Observatory's telescope, exhibit, and building content and theater presentations to explore our place in the universe.

Painting, printmaking, collage, and more—all from the comfort of your own home! LACMA offers virtual art classes for kids, teens, families, and adults. Experiment with art materials, build new skills, discover art in LACMA’s collection, and launch your imagination in fun classes led by our team of creative teaching artists. Check out our one-day workshops, Friday night creative happy hours, and five-session classes! Classes take place wherever you have internet access. Join on your computer or tablet via Zoom. Students are responsible for providing their own art materials.

Mission San Juan Capistrano offers a wide variety of guided tours and education programs for student groups to explore the Mission and its rich history.

The Muzeo Classroom is a unique, overarching educational initiative which offers high-quality classes, exhibits and programs in the arts, graphics and humanities. The Classroom is targeted for area students and adults, with an emphasis toward attracting at-risk students.

Our After School Workshops take place Mon-Fri. All materials are included! All your child needs to bring along is a drive to create and a smile. We recommend packing a water bottle, snack, or funds to purchase a snack in the studio! Please note: Some days, class will be held in-studio. Some days, class will be held outside (weather permitting). All in person students must sign up in advance for classes, camps or workshops – No walk-ins. At Walker’s, we believe that demonstrable skills are the best measure of learning including literacy, critical thinking, a global perspective, taking initiative, leadership, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

We offer virtual educational enrichment classes via ZOOM for children in 1st-6th grades, Monday through Friday, five days a week from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PST.

These 40-minute art appreciation lessons are designed for children ages 7-12. During the lessons we will immerse ourselves into the story of a wonderful artwork. We'll use our imagination and our thinking skills to figure out what is happening. And, then, we'll understand a little bit more about ourselves by empathizing with the characters.

We accept infants from 2 months upto kindergarten children. We provide an education, based on the core concepts of the Montessori Method, which supports the philosophy that each child is an individual learner. Children learn though a variety of exercises, including practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language, science, geography, and cultural awareness. In addition to our core academic programs, we also offer yoga, art, music, gymnastics and Spanish as part of out curriculum. Our trained teachers offer not only enriched and in-depth academics, but social skills and character development.
