Before February comes to a close, join us in celebrating Cupid’s spirit of connection. Come with a friend or a date—or just bring yourself—for this special edition of our Tactile Filmmaking Workshop. You'll help make something meaningful, inspired by love in all its forms.
Make a camera-less movie and animate directly on 16mm film using simple, hands-on materials such as markers, tape, pushpins, and ink. You’ll create your own vibrant, moving-image collages on celluloid film. Then we’ll edit the individual strips together and screen them through a 16mm projector, creating a community-made and collaborative film made with heart.
Additional family-friendly activities will include keychain-making with celluloid film strips. Make one for yourself or your valentine.
