Steven Spielberg directed this lavish sequel to J. M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan , in which a grown-up Peter (Robin Williams), who has forgotten all about his magical youth, has to leave the safety of suburban life and return to Neverland to rescue his children from the vengeful Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). Hook earned Oscar nominations for Art Direction, Costume Design, Makeup, Visual Effects, and the original song “When You’re Alone,” and has since become a cult classic.
