Shark Week at Ocean Encounter- Discovery Cube

To see the beauty of something, makes us want to preserve it, share the immersive yet educational expereince with your child, that will aid in environemental stewardship and appreciation.
Ocean Encounter explores the different areas of the ocean including the coral reef, kelp forest, open ocean, abyss and trench zones. There will also be multiple play areas and demo labs at certian dates and times.
The demo labs will explore:
- The Science of Sand Castles
- Shell identificantion activity
- All about seagulls
- Sea Urchin wall race
SHARK WEEK EXPERIENCE
To spread awareness and educate individuals on sharks, in addition to Ocean Encounter there are shark educational programming. Which includes:
- Shark Tooth Inspection
- Shark Skin Science
- Encounter a Mobile Aquarium
- Shark Crafts
Make sure to stop by Sea Lab to pet our stingrays and sharks!
