The Academy Museum Teen Council invites you to join us on Saturday, August 26, from 5pm to 7pm, for a series of workshops before the night’s screening of Metallica: Through the Never (2013) in 3D at 7:30pm, part of the museum’s limited film series Summer of Music: Concert Films 1959–2020.
Make original patches, pins, guitar picks, and screen-printed concert t-shirts, and head bang during karaoke.
Meet us in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.
All workshops are free with museum admission and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under. Film screening tickets must be purchased separately.
