As L.A.’s performing arts destination, The Music Center is L.A.’s home to the world’s greatest artistic programs and events. With four iconic theaters and four renowned resident companies – Center Theatre Group, the LA Master Chorale, the LA Opera and the LA Philharmonic – and recognized for its illustrious dance programming, Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, The Music Center is a destination where audiences find inspiration in the very best of live performance, as well as nationally recognized arts education and free and low-cost arts engagement experiences. The Music Center also programs and manages Grand Park, a 12-acre adjacent greenspace, with year-round free programming.
Are you studying ballet, contemporary ballet or modern dance? Are you an aspiring tap dancer? Do you like to Swing dance? Are you a high school student studying music, voice or other field? Whether you are an aspiring or emerging artist, we offer access to a number of master classes. Our master class teachers include choreographers, dancers and artistic directors from some of the world’s most acclaimed dance companies as well as award-winning musicians, vocalists and actors; they work with us to offer hands-on training and experiences both at The Music Center and in locations around L.A. County, either as standalone classes or as part of other programs including The Music Center’s Spotlight.
